WestBridge appoints new Investment Executive

New Investment Executive appointed as growth continues.

Chartered accountant Edward Minton has joined from WK Corporate Finance, where he specialised in supporting management teams to undertake buyouts.  Having previously worked at Terra Firma Capital Partners, he is well placed to understand all aspects of the deal process and will hit the ground running.

At WestBridge he will join the investment team to originate and make new investments.

Minton said:

“WestBridge has a track record of successful investing and a growing reputation in the market.  The partners have delivered excellent returns from their first fund and it’s an exciting time to be joining as they look for more great management teams to support.”

WestBridge has developed a strong reputation for providing high levels of strategic and operational support to portfolio companies.

Since 2012, the firm has led equity investments totalling circa £45 million in eight companies.  It has also completed three exits, which have delivered an overall 4x multiple on invested capital.

Valerie Kendall, one of the four founding partners, said:

“Edward joins us as we look to expand and grow business.  He has worked extensively with entrepreneurial companies in our target market and we expect him to make a strong contribution to WestBridge’s future success.  We are delighted that he has joined the team.”
