John is a chairman, investor and business coach having successfully completed an MBO through to flotation and developed a number of software and service companies. Over the past 5 years John chaired SWAIN (the South West Angel Investor Network) from its inception into a thriving business angel network. John was awarded an OBE in 2009 for services to entrepreneurship and business.
Andrew has had an extensive career in the recruitment consultancy industry with over 25 years of operational experience. Andrew has been CEO and on the board on a number of successful recruitment businesses which have been private equity backed including James Harvard, returning significant returns to the respective shareholders.
Peter is a serial entrepreneur and business angel. He has over 30 years of operational experience in the food industry having been CEO of 3i backed Halo Foods, and now has interests and investments in a diverse range of sectors. Peter was honoured in 1995 with an OBE for services to industry in Wales.
Hugh has spent the last 30 years as an operator and investor in the business services sector having led an MBI of Oyez Straker Office Supplies with the support and backing of ECI. Hugh was then involved, as CEO and then chairman, with a number of further MBOs of the business. Hugh has now stepped down from the board to pursue private investment opportunities although still remains a substantial investor.
Jeremy is an experienced chairman, CEO and investor in the healthcare, financial services, lifescience and technology sectors having made and managed 60+ investments over the past 20 years (as both an institutional and a private investor). Jeremy is a physician and medical scientist with historical research interests in medical physics and aviation medicine.
